Christine Di Staola received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Painting and Printmaking from the University of Miami, Florida, where she was awarded a full scholarship and teaching assistantship.

Di Staola’s prints and paintings have been exhibited throughout Florida, and her prize-winning artwork has been selected for numerous national juried exhibitions in galleries across the United States, including the Zhou B Center in Chicago, the Manifest Gallery in Cincinnati and the Ellington-White Contemporary Gallery in North Carolina. Internationally, she had her first solo exhibit in Italy and was invited to participate in an exhibition at the Limlip Museum in Gongju, South Korea. Digital reproductions of her paintings and prints have appeared in online galleries, video and print publications, including Studio Visit Magazine and Site:Brooklyn. Her artwork is held in private collections worldwide.

After having lived almost 30 years in Italy, Di Staola now resides in St Petersburg and works in her studio at ArtLofts. Since her arrival in the Tampa Bay area she has taught at the University of Tampa and at the Dunedin Fine Arts Center. She is currently a visiting artist at Shorecrest Preparatory School where she collaborates with their Extended Day program to foster a creative, process-based approach to art in young children.
